Aims of the course:
This session will develop awareness of the threats to wellbeing in the workplace and to explore positive strategies to help develop a personal wellbeing toolkit.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand what affects wellbeing within the workplace.
- Understand the stress response and how this impacts the individual.
- Recognise the difference between reacting and responding to challenging situations.
- Identify individual opportunities for creating a positive approach to personal wellbeing in the workplace.

- Stress and the body’s response
- Exploring workplace stressors
- Reacting vs responding
- Five ways to wellbeing
- Resilience as a concept
- Creating a toolkit of solutions
