Wound Care Update – 25th November 2026

Live virtual training session with Alexandra Bishop, Tissue Viabilty Nurse Specialist. 

A course for clinical healthcare professionals, updating skills and knowledge regarding the types and variations of wounds seen in primary care.  The session will cover appropriate treatments, new products and techniques with a summary of the most suitable dressings for each presentation.

Course aims:

1. Overview of new guidelines in wound care relevant to primary practice

2. Update on changes to the wound care formulary

Learning outcomes:

1. Be aware of latest updates in wound care.

2. Understand how and when to refer a patient to other specialists or teams.

3. Be aware of where to find information on the local formulary and what’s new.
