Devon Training Hub is looking for a GP with an interest in leadership, collaboration and neighbourhood health to join us for a 12-month fellowship.
Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs) are developing rapidly across Devon and nationally. They bring together general practice, community services, secondary care, local authorities, social care and the voluntary sector to work around the needs of local populations.
We want Devon Training Hub to support this work as a convenor, connector and learning partner – helping teams learn from each other, access useful expertise and avoid reinventing the wheel.
The Fellow will work across Devon and beyond, developing relationships with neighbourhood leaders and learning from INTs at different stages of development. We are particularly interested in the origin stories behind successful neighbourhood working, not simply what mature INTs look like, but how people learnt to work together and what they wish they had known at the beginning.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal applicant would be a GP who practices in Devon, with experience or a developing interest in clinical or system leadership.
We are not necessarily looking for an established neighbourhood expert. This role may particularly suit a GP already taking on leadership responsibilities who would benefit from the opportunity to work with the experienced DTH team in a formal funded capacity.
Our aim is for Devon Training Hub to become a place where people can come for connections, shared learning and practical support as neighbourhood working develops.
