Self-harm is increasingly prevalent in our society. This workshop is designed for those who work with or come into contact with those who self-harm.

The workshop will explore the reasons behind self-harming behaviour, and how best to support those who do it.  Also, we will look at the challenges faced by those who support, live with or work with those who self-harm.

We will focus on helpful strategies and responses – as well as highlighting the ones to avoid – that support and encourage people to find less harmful means of communication.

Delegates will receive a 300-page textbook and a 24-page workshop manual
