We are very excited to be offering this Introduction to Contraception course to our Learning and Development Centre catalogue!  This has been kindly produced and will be delivered by Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare registered trainer, Dr Jane Davis.

Course Aims:

To provide a basic overview of current best practice in provision of contraception within Primary Care.

(Please note that this course does not provide a qualification for delivering contraceptive services, for further clinical training please visit www.fsrh.org)

Learning Outcomes for the course:

1. Know the full range of current contraceptive choices

2. Feel confident discussing contraceptive options that meet the patient’s needs and wishes.

3. Provide, or signpost to provision of contraception, depending on your scope pf practice.
