Suitable for Healthcare Assistants and Assistant Practitioners that have undertaken the associated Immunisation Foundation course.

This session will include:

• A review of legal aspects of vaccination, including delegation, consent and patient specific directions
• Epidemiology of influenza, pneumococcal and shingles diseases.
• Influenza, COVID, pneumococcal and shingles programmes for 2025 and respiratory syncytial virus programmes for 2025/26.
• Review of the importance of the cold chain
• Review of the correction administration of vaccination
• Review of how to recognise anaphylaxis
