Devon is a wonderful place to work in General Practice. Many GPs trained locally before taking up roles in Devon practices and many more move here to take advantage of the countryside, coastline and vibrant communities on offer.
If you are working or thinking of working in Devon as a GP, whether you are a locum, salaried GP or a GP partner, Devon Training Hub can advise on a range of opportunities and support available to support you to develop a sustainable and rewarding career in General Practice in Devon.
We are very happy to arrange an informal chat with one of our two GP leads, who can connect you to local peer support opportunities and career development offers in your locality. We are:
- Daniel Korn
- Daisy Robinson
You can get in touch with us by emailing devon.traininghub@nhs.net

Devon Local Medical Committee (LMC) acts as the local representative of all NHS General Practitioners working in Devon. The LMC is the only body that has a statutory duty to represent GPs at a local level. It offers a variety of support to GPs and GP teams:
RCGP Tamar Faculty
The Faculty is a group of volunteer RCGP members who provide local networking, education and support for members in the area. To take account of the wide geographical spread of members, we have four regional education leads covering Exeter, Plymouth, Torbay and Truro who organise free monthly CPD meetings in these localities.
GP Appraisals and Revalidation
All you need to know about appraisal and revalidation for General Practitioners in England.
Please see the Regional Teams page which includes contact details for the South West Appraisals Team.
