Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner Degree Apprenticeship at the University of Exeter
The Master’s level Apprenticeship in Advanced Clinical Practice is for nurses , pharmacists and Allied Health Professionals. This apprenticeship aims to develop the skills and expertise required to respond to challenges facing our modern-day health service by exploring real world cases in problem-based learning groups, developing peer support networks and the opportunity to share clinical experiences. This programme has distinct specialist pathways to provide increased choice for the senior healthcare professionals across all parts of the sector and include:

- Principles of Primary Care

This programme has been designed by sector specialists to meet the needs of health professionals across all healthcare sectors, giving your employees the opportunity to lead and transform service delivery through research-informed clinical practice. As an advanced clinical practitioner, you will confidently drive service improvements, provide professional leadership and supervision in complex situations and manage defined episodes of clinical care and treatment independently from beginning to end.
This contemporary and flexible-focused programme will equip the clinician to take on a lead role in supporting and meeting the demands of the ever-changing health service.

This programme has been developed to enable practitioners to gain the knowledge, skills, professional behaviours, values and attitudes needed to work at an enhanced clinical level.

Leadership Apprenticeships
Level 7 Senior Leader in Healthcare Leadership and Management Apprenticeship at the University of Exeter
The University of Exeter offers a bespoke Senior Leader programme which has been developed specifically for the Healthcare sector to develop high-potential team members into able leaders by equipping them with the tools to take responsibility for their organisation’s direction, vision, and strategic intent. They will gain the professional techniques required to inspire and guide a team and strive for the highest standards in the delivery of patient-focused healthcare within a demanding and progressive industry and using newly gained knowledge and skills to contribute to an ethical, innovative, and supportive healthcare culture.
On completion a Postgraduate Diploma in Healthcare Leadership and Management is awarded alongside the Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship – fully funded by Government Apprenticeship funding. One further module leads to the attainment of the MSc (subject to a top-up, additional fee of £3,900).
