SUMMARY:2-Day Assessment and Management of Minor Injuries in Primary Care
DESCRIPTION:This is a two day course for all practitioners working in Primary Care or in Minor Injury/Urgent Care areas. \nMinor injuries find their way on to our lists in many different guises. Patients present with painful ankles\, elbows\, shoulders\, and backs to name a few\, and in many cases\, patients have not seemingly injured themselves or described having an injury or accident. \nWe also see\, lacerations\, burns\, splinters\, lumps and swellings\, bruises\, inflammation\, and cellulitis in our day-to-day work. \nAre you confident and competent in their management? Do you know when to refer in or request an x-ray? DESCRIPTION:This is a two day course for all practitioners working in Primary Care or in Minor Injury/Urgent Care areas. \nMSK complaints find their way on to our lists in many different guises. Patients present with painful ankles\, elbows\, shoulders\, and backs to name a few\, and in many cases\, patients have not seemingly injured themselves or described having an injury or accident. \nWe also see\, lacerations\, burns\, splinters\, lumps and swellings\, bruises\, inflammation\, and cellulitis in our day-to-day work. \nAre you confident and competent in their management? Do you know when to refer in or request an x-ray?
