Non-registered staff will require approval from their workplace to manage complex wounds. \nLearning outcomes: \n1. Assess a wound confidently. \n2. Identify problems\, signs of infection and how to manage these. \n3. Feel more confident when assessing and planning care for a patient’s wound(s). \n4. EX2 7LW \nFree parking is available for delegates at the venue and refreshments will be provided throughout the day. \nFriday 19th January 2024: 09:30 to 12:30\nVirtual training session.  Zoom meeting details will be shared with you prior to the event. \nVenue: Zoom \nAll delegates are required to complete the eLearning section in the handbook before the first taught session. At the end of the course there will be a final assessment. Further information will be sent out prior to the start of  the course.  Please allow at least an hour after the final teaching session to complete the online assessment.  Without the pre-learning and completed online assessment\, delegates will not be able to pass this course. \nResources will be distributed to delegates by email\, including competency documents that will enable completion of the practical requirements in practice with a mentor. \nPart of this course is being run virtually . Details of how to join the meeting will be emailed to you closer to the event. \nThese are interactive teaching sessions. It is expected that delegates joining the virtual teaching session  will be in a quiet environment in which they can use a camera and a microphone to communicate with the rest of the group.  Inability to communicate with others during the sessions may lead to the course not being successfully completed.  \nIf you no longer require your place on this course place cancel it so that there is availability for other delegates.  To cancel a booking please log into your Learning and Development Centre account\, go to the Training Hub course list and click on the orange box next to the course name. \nAll delegates must have their own booking made through the Learning and Development Centre website to join the meeting.  The name on your Zoom account should be recognisable as the name on your booking.  If we cannot identify delegates they may not be admitted to the session\, or certificates may not be issued after the event. \n  \nIf you have any questions please contact the team: ldc.sentinel@nhs.net
