DESCRIPTION:The conference is an opportunity to collectively explore a Devon-wide vision for creating the system conditions for healthier lives and healthy bodies/weight across the population through systemic\, collective\, non-stigmatising actions. \n  \nThere is wide recognition that the challenge of excess weight at population level cannot be solved via a single solution\, and that it requires system-wide efforts and approaches taking into account the complexity and scale of the issue. \n  \nThis conference is a space to bring together Devon residents and stakeholders actively working in this space to share\, connect and exchange ideas\, and to inspire people to work together\, creating collaborative action towards a wider vision for healthy weight and lives in Devon. \n  \nObjectives for the day: \n  \n      ● To explore health and weight as a complex issue requiring whole system responses\, feedback and adaptation \n      ● To share learning from across Devon\, Plymouth and Torbay and wider to provoke and inspire our imagination and ambition \n      ● To build the conditions for a shared vision(s) and collaborative actions toward that vision(s)\, underpinned by local differences and diversities \n      ● To mobilise collective action across emerging work streams \n  \n  \nHealthy Devon Learning Labs \n  \nHealthy Devon Learning Labs is a collaborative project\, led by NHS\, VCSE\, local councils and wider organisations with the aim to build systemic changes that can promote healthy weight/bodies and lives at population level through non-stigmatising\, compassionate actions.
