DESCRIPTION:Rowcroft Hospice and Torbay & South Devon NHS Trust have been running the End of Life Care Ambassadors Programme since 2018 and have nearly completed four cohorts of staff from across all areas from care homes\, acute trusts and community services who have impacted on and improved end of life care. The next cohort is scheduled to start in September 2024 and we are recruiting now. We are looking for health and social care professionals who are interested in end of life care and who would like to make a difference. \nThis programme is collaboratively run by the Rowcroft Hospice Education Team and the End of Life Education & Hospital Palliative Care Team so you will be well supported on your End of Life Care Ambassador journey. \nThe dates of the training days held at Rowcroft Hospice are as follows: \n25 September 2024* \n20 November 2024 \n22 January 2025 \n6 March 2025 \n12 June 2025 – celebration and project day* \nYou must be available and commit to attending at least four of these days and it is mandatory that you attend days 1 & 5 (*) \nInterested in finding out more?
