SUMMARY:Online Special Interest Group – Cancer & End of Life Care
DESCRIPTION:Explore Cancer & End of Life with Dr Prue Mitchell – a GP in Exmouth for 19 years and for a day each week she was a GP Macmillan facilitator for 15 years involving improving early cancer diagnosis and end of life care in primary care teams. \nThe next session focuses on End-of-Life Care. Participants are asked to review maybe 3-5 recent deaths at their practice (not necessarily their own patients) and to bring reflections on what went well and what could have gone better (for the patient\, the bereaved and the healthcare team). \nThe session is not usually recorded to maintain a safe\, confidential space without worries of where a recording might get shared.
