DESCRIPTION:Join Dr Colin Roberts (GP and Associate Professor Advanced PracticePlymouth University) for this highly requested 4 part interactive series onblood interpretation aimed at Primary Care clinicians. \n  \nThe learning outcomes for this session include: \n\nUnderstand the basic concepts and terminology for blood tests.\nUse a case study approach to increase confidence in requesting and interpreting blood test results.\nDevelop an understanding of key blood tests  commonly undertaken in general practice and community settings.\nEnhance skills in identifying and managing blood test results that require urgent attention\nRecognise the limitations of practice and understand when to refer patients to specialists.\nUnderstand the appropriate circumstances for requesting blood tests.\nLearn how often to repeat blood tests based on clinical guidelines and patient condition.\n\nThis training is open to all primary care clinicians in the South West – including AHPs\, Nurses\, PAs\, and GPs.
