Primary Care Fellows Academy
The PCFA is a multi-professional virtual academy for all clinical fellows working in primary care at all career stages. GPs, nurses, AHPs, and other roles undertaking any Fellowship, from across the South West region are eligible to participate in a variety of learning opportunities and connect with peers from across the South West.
As a wider CPD opportunity, PCFA events are designed to complement & enhance the NTP fellowship offer in Devon. To take part in the programme or to join any of the special interest groups please contact Kirsty Weaver with your details.

Special Interest Groups
The Primary Care Academy is also coordinating pan-South West "special interest groups" to bring together Primary Care Fellows for learning in an expertly facilitated group, from across the whole of the SW. These groups are currently being set up, and Fellows sign up at the events, or by asking Kirsty Weaver to send their details to the facilitator.
- Health Inequalities (2 groups currently in form forming stage)
- Leadership development (facilitated by Vik Mohan)
- Education (with opportunity to undertake a masters level module being investigated)
- Primary Care Research
The Academy has offered the opportunity to undertake a Master level module in Primary Care at University of Exeter Medical School to all PCA participants.
