What is the Primary Care Fellows Academy?

The PCFA is a multi-professional virtual academy for all clinical fellows working in primary care at all career stages. GPs, nurses, AHPs, and other roles undertaking any Fellowship, from across the South West region are eligible to participate in a variety of learning opportunities and connect with peers from across the South West.

 As a wider CPD opportunity, PCFA events are designed to complement & enhance other workforce development programmes on offer within Devon including the NTP fellowship. To take part in PCA events or to join any of the special interest groups please contact the team direct.

 Fellows Education Programme

The Education Programme is a bimonthly programme of educational events with expert speakers and local champions, covering a wide range of topics. These events are open to all clinical fellows working in primary care in the South West.

The Academy has previously offered the opportunity to undertake a Masters level module in Primary Care at University of Exeter Medical School to all PCA participants. If this is something you may be interested in in future, please contact the team.
