Research and evaluation have shown that this format effectively equips attendees with the understanding and practical skills needed to apply ERI in real-world settings.  Places are limited to 20 per training workshop and attendees must be available for the full day. DESCRIPTION:Diabetes Foot Checks – 14th January 2026\, 10:00 to 12:30.\nWith Craig Fairey\, Foot Protection Lead Podiatrist\, Livewell Southwest\n  \nSuitable for – Registered Healthcare Practitioners including Nurses\, Registered Nurse Associates\, GPs\, Paramedics and Pharmacists. \n  \nDiabetes related foot problems are the single major cause of non-traumatic lower limb amputations in the world.  More than 60\,000 people with Diabetes in England are thought to have a foot ulcer at any given time\, and 10%-15% of patients with diabetes will develop a foot ulcer in their lifetime. \nThis course will guide healthcare professionals through the correct procedure for foot checks on diabetic patients and how to perform Doppler Assessments as part of your assessment process. \nThis course is being delivered virtually; meeting details will be advised in the week before the course. \nIf you no longer require your place on this course place cancel it so that there is availability for other delegates.  To cancel a booking please log into your Learning and Development Centre account\, go to the Centre course list and click on the orange box next to the course name. \nIt is expected that you will attend the session virtually from a quiet location at which you will not be disturbed\, and you will have access to a microphone and camera on your device.  Every delegate must have their own device to use throughout this session.  This is a requirement for attending this interactive course.  \n  \nAll delegates must have their own booking made through the Learning and Development Centre website to join the meeting.  The name on your Zoom account should be recognisable as the name on your booking.  If we cannot identify delegates they may not be admitted to the session\, or certificates may not be issued after the event.
