DESCRIPTION:Introduction to COPD – 29th September 2026 – 12:30 to 14:45.\nWith Specialist Respiratory Nurse\, Laura Rush.\nSuitable for All Healthcare Professionals \nThis webinar will give a basic overview of: \n​ \n·         What COPD is and its impact \n·         The difference between a normal airway and a COPD airway \n·         The symptoms associated with COPD \n·         The diagnostic process including history and investigations \n·         Assessing and managing COPD including both the pharmacological & non pharmacological options \n·         The COPD guidelines \n​ \n  \nThroughout the webinar you will be able to contribute and ask questions. \nIt is expected that you will attend the session virtually from a quiet location at which you will not be disturbed\, and you will have access to a microphone and camera on your device.  Every delegate must have their own device to use throughout this session.  This is a requirement for attending this interactive course. \nAll delegates must have their own booking made through the Learning and Development Centre website to join the meeting.  The name on your Zoom account should be recognisable as the name on your booking.  If we cannot identify delegates they may not be admitted to the session\, or certificates may not be issued after the event. \nIf you cannot attend the event place cancel your place via your training account to allow other people to make a booking. \nThe event will be held online and details of how to join the event will be emailed out closer to the event date. \nIf you need any further information please contact ldc.sentinel@nhs.net
