DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Asthma – 5th February 2026\, 12:30 to 14:45\nWith Specialist Respiratory Nurse\, Laura Rush\nSuitable for All Healthcare Professionals \nThis webinar will give a basic overview of: \n​ \n·         Asthma in the UK and its impact \n·         The difference between a normal airway and an asthma airway \n·         The symptoms associated with asthma \n·         How to take good history and what makes asthma more likely and less likely \n·         Assessing and managing asthma \n·         The asthma guidelines \n​ \nThroughout the webinar you will be able to contribute and ask questions \nThe event will be held online and details of how to join the event will be emailed out closer to the event date. \nIt is expected that you will attend the session virtually from a quiet location at which you will not be disturbed\, and you will have access to a microphone and camera on your device.  Every delegate must have their own device to use throughout this session.  This is a requirement for attending this interactive course. \nIf you no longer require your place on this course place cancel it so that there is availability for other delegates.  To cancel a booking please log into your Learning and Development Centre account\, go to the Centre course list and click on the orange box next to the course name. \nAll delegates must have their own booking made through the Learning and Development Centre website to join the meeting.  The name on your Zoom account should be recognisable as the name on your booking.  If we cannot identify delegates they may not be admitted to the session\, or certificates may not be issued after the event. \nIf you need any further information please contact us: ldc.sentinel@nhs.net
