DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Phlebotomy – 2nd June 2026.\nIn-person training at Kingdom Business Centre\, Brunel Road\, Newton Abbot\, TQ12 4PB – 09:30 to 13:00.\nWith Clinical Educator Tracey Owen\nSuitable for all Healthcare Professionals \nThe training material covers all aspects of Phlebotomy and gives delegates a complete understanding of the theory associated with this procedure.  Delegates are also given the opportunity to work with a fake arm and practice the procedure. \nAfter the training session delegates will be sent the training slides and a competency document to complete in practice with an experienced and suitably qualified Mentor.  Please ensure that there is someone in practice available to oversee your work while you complete the practical elements of the course. \nOnce complete please retain the competency document with the course certificate to evidence proficiency; we do not need to see these once completed but you can upload them to your Learning and Development Centre account. \nCourse joining instructions will be emailed to you in the week prior to the event. \nIf you have any questions please contact the team at ldc.sentinel@nhs.net
