DESCRIPTION:To help support the onboarding of new staff working in Primary Care\, Devon Training Hub have developed a virtual Induction Programme.  The aim being to provide a consistent and comprehensive introduction to working in GP Practice and PCN’s. \nWho is it for?  \nAny staff new to General Practice.  (Please note it is beneficial if staff have had a few days to orientate themselves to the workplace before attending the induction.) \nThe Programme includes: \n\nIntroduction to Primary Care\nPCN’s & ARRS roles\nHow GP Practices are financed\nOur Stakeholders\nAn introduction to QOF/IIF\nHow we are monitored\nPatient Influence (PPG)\nHow Devon Training Hub supports you\nThe NHS Pension Scheme\nUnderstanding Confidentiality – including GDPR/Caldicott Guardians/Data Protection\nOverview of Health & Safety\nWhistleblowing/safeguarding/Freedom to speak up/Interpersonal Trauma Response\nWellbeing & Resilience\nDiscount Schemes\nMandatory Training\n\nDelivered virtually over 2 days (Friday 8th November & Wednesday 13th November)  9.30am – 4.30pm.  (Delegates will be required to attend both days).
