DESCRIPTION:Mental Health Crisis Management – 8th July 2026\, 09:30 to 13:30.\nSuitable for all job roles in all settings\nWith Ali Uzzell\, MHFA England Trainer. \nMental Health Crisis Management \nThe purpose of this training is to help increase awareness of mental health crises and build confidence\, so that learners will be able to support individuals who are experiencing them. DESCRIPTION:Immunisation Foundation for Healthcare Assistants and Assistant Practitioners – 17th and 24th July 2026\n09:30 to 16:00 on 17th July 2025 – in person training at Touchdown 2\, Future Skills Centre\, Exeter College\, Exeter Airport Industrial Estate\, EX5 2LJ\n09:30 to 13:00 on 24th July 2026 – virtual training. \nDelegates must attend both dates to complete the course.\nWith Specialist Immunisation Educators Tricia Smith and Emma Edwards. \nThis course is suitable for Healthcare Assistants and Assistant Practitioners only.\nThis course meets the national minimum standards for immunisation training \nCourse content will include \n\nImmunity and the different types of  vaccine and how they work\nLegal aspects of vaccination\, including delegation\, consent and patient specific directions\nEpidemiology of influenza\, pneumococcal and shingles diseases.\nInfluenza\, COVID\, pneumococcal and shingles programmes for 2026 and respiratory syncytial virus programmes for 2026/27.\nThe importance of the cold chain\nThe correction administration of vaccination\nHow to recognise anaphylaxis\n\nThis course is being run as a blended delivery training course. Details of how to join the in person and virtual meetings will be emailed to you closer to the event. \nAll delegates are required to complete a workbook prior to  each taught session. \nAt the end of the course there will be a final assessment.
