Devon Training Hub are now offering a new fully funded programme of daytime and evening events for GPs in Devon, offering you the opportunity to connect with colleagues for CPD, networking and support.

These events are open to GPs, who are 2 year or more post CCT.

SHAPES Toolkit (1 day in person course)

SHAPES is a breakthrough resilience training course for professionals to help delegates take control of their time and workload, increase their wellbeing and change their response to stressful situations. Each day is fully interactive and includes lunch, with venues across Devon:

1. 1. Thursday 12th June 2025 – Buckfast Abbey, Buckfastleigh
   2. Tuesday 23rd Sept 2025 – Park Hotel, Barnstaple
   3. Thursday 29th January 2026 – Plymouth (venue TBC)

Each Shapes course has capacity for up to 20 participants. If we are over-subscribed, we will keep a waiting list.

DTH GP Reconnect Evenings

Our new virtual/F2F Reconnect events will run every 1-2 months through 2025. Speakers from both local and national organisations will attend each event to facilitate discussions on a range of topics for busy GPs.  There will be the opportunity to take part in a small group PBSGL teaching session on clinical and non-clinical topics. Final topics to be confirmed but will cover the challenges of managing complexity and uncertainty in our work and strategies for leading patient care delivery and teams in their practices.
