Only book if you have previously completed the Health Coaching 1 Course

 

Suitable for individual practitioners within the Health and Social Care workforce and community teams with a special interest in health coaching (Clinical consultants, AHP’s, Health and Wellbeing Coaches, Care Coordinators, Social Prescribers, Social workers etc).

Delegates must have already completed Personalised Conversations (Health Coaching Skills 1) to be able to undertake this course.

Aims:

 

·       To develop skills and techniques in personalised care and health coaching skills

To deepen understanding of the interpersonal skills and dynamics in coaching

Objectives:

To explore the TGROW Model of Personalised Health Coaching

To consider how to tailor your conversation to a person’s stage of change and their knowledge, skills & confidence/motivation to act​

To use enhanced coaching skills understanding the psychology of coaching​

To develop enhanced coaching skills to work with resistance and challenges​

To provide opportunities for skills practice and reflection

Learning Outcomes:

 

  1. Practice using the TGROW Model of Personalised Health Coaching
  2. Discuss how to tailor a conversation to a person’s stage of change and their knowledge, skills & confidence/motivation to act​
  3. Explain enhanced coaching skills with understanding the psychology of coaching​
  4. Apply enhanced coaching skills to work with resistance and challenges​
  5. Evidence skills practice and reflection

 

A workbook will be provided to everyone enrolled on the course, and meeting links will be issued to everyone in the week prior to the first session.
