Introduction to Coaching in the Workplace – 9th and 16th March 2026

Welcome to Introduction to Coaching in the Workplace, a brand-new course that has been written for the Learning and Development Centre by our in-house Coach and Mentor, Carolyn Carter. 

Suitable for:

Managers and leaders who are responsible for developing individuals with a view to improving team performance.

Aims and Outcomes:

The aim of the course is to equip participants with the skills and knowledge to recognise and utilise coaching moments in the workplace.

By the end of the course participants will be able to:

• Understand the differences between Training, Coaching and Mentoring and when to use them
• Define and practise core coaching skills
• Identify coaching moments at work
• Understand and implement the GROW model
• Feel confident using coaching at work.

This course will be delivered in-person over two training days:

Day One:

09:30 to 16:30 – Kingdom Business Centre, Brunel Road, Newton Abbot, TQ12 4PB

Day Two:

09:30 to 16:30 – Kingdom Business Centre, Brunel Road, Newton Abbot, TQ12 4PB

This will be a fully catered course.  Please ensure that any access and dietary requirements are saved on your profile so that we can share your needs with the venue and caterers.
