Diabetes Foot Checks and Doppler Assessments – 5th March 2024, 09:30 to 11:00
With Anita Cassidy, Specialist Diabetic Podiatry Nurse
Suitable for – All Healthcare Professionals
Diabetes related foot problems are the single major cause of non-traumatic lower limb amputations in the world. More than 60,000 people with Diabetes in England are thought to have a foot ulcer at any given time, and 10%-15% of patients with diabetes will develop a foot ulcer in their lifetime.
This course will guide healthcare professionals through the correct procedure for foot checks on diabetic patients and how to perform Doppler Assessments as part of your assessment process.
This course is being delivered virtually; meeting details will be advised a few days beforehand.
