The Learning and Development Centre is delighted to be hosting this ground-breaking Dementia Masterclass, coordinated and chaired by Dementia Specialist, Dr Jane Mullins. Her company featured as a finalist in the 2024 South West Care Awards, in the Training and Development Provider category. Dr Mullins will be supported throughout the event by an expert team of Dementia practitioners including Professor Charles Musselwhite, Dr Clive Thomas and Dr Emma Richards, and those with lived experience of Dementia conditions.
Join this event to enhance skills and knowledge of the following:

– Stages of dementia
– Tell-tale signs of different dementias
– How to communicate with patients living with dementia.
– How can we improve assessments for people living with dementia in primary care?
– How do people maintain independence when living with dementia?
– Communicating through the senses
– Making healthcare workplaces dementia-friendly.
