Areas to be covered
Aim:
To train in skills, tools and techniques of mindfulness
based practices to cope with and better manage stress and difficult experiences within everyday
life.
To be achieved through these objectives:
1. Over 6 sessions of training attendees will build an
effective well researched repertoire of mindfulness based tools, techniques
and practices
2. Through regular practice attendees will become more
able to respond rather than react to stressors and difficult experiences.
3. Through regular practice attendees will value more,
prioritise and bring more balance to their own health and wellbeing
Learning outcomes i.e by the end of this activity,
attendees should be able to
1. Be more open, accepting and willingly work with the
reality of life as present moment experience
2. Work differently and more helpfully with difficult
thoughts, emotions and experiences
3.Build resilience through regular practices that
prioritise self care
