Objectives:
• To have an understanding of some of the new roles for other health professionals in primary care and consider what their strengths and weaknesses may be so that clinical supervision can be suitably focused:
o Physician associates
o Practice based pharmacists
o First contact physiotherapists
o Paramedics
• To consider how learning styles impact upon clinical supervision
• To develop skills for delivering feedback in the clinical environment
• To be able to identify and utilise communication tools such as SBAR when communicating with other health professionals in the primary care setting so that the process of clinical supervision can be enhanced
Please note this is a 3 session course and we strongly advise that you attend all 3 sessions.
The first course will be taking place on Monday 1 March 2021 at 19:00-20:30
The second course will be taking place on Monday 8 March 2021 at 19:00-20:30
The third course will be taking place on Monday 22 March 2021 at 19:00-20:30
